Cristiano Ronaldo revealed the secret to his absurdly muscular upper body, and it's not what you think. The Al Nassr forward shared a workout video of him performing a series of dumbbell exercises that target the shoulders—complete with a half time dance break. If you can get a bit of fun cardio in between sets of shoulder shrugs, then why not?
With his caption 'Feeling good', after showing off his washboard abs, Ronaldo, 38, completes sets of dumbbell shrugs to train his shoulders and traps and lateral raises to build up the lateral head of his shoulders before grinning ear to ear and performing a Macarena-style dance.
Ronaldo has a strict, rigid fitness plan that has helped him become one of the world's best footballers. His recovery is something he also takes very seriously, and is a big believer in the use of Theraguns. 'I also hydrate, eat a healthy meal, and get a good night’s rest,' he says.
With more and more elite level footballers heading to Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo will need to stay in peak condition over the summer. From the look of his physique, he seems to be on the right track.
